Here are the links to homemade cleaning solutions that I have tried. I have had good results with all of these solutions.
Homemade "Clorox" Wipes - This recipe doesn't use bleach. Instead, it uses rubbing alcohol. It also had ammonia as an optional ingredient, but I left that out.
Amazing Scum Remover - This uses dawn and vinegar. I liked how it worked on simple soap scum, but it didn't really work on the thick stuff (It is amazing how that stuff builds up). If I left it on a lot longer, it may have removed it better.
Simple Glass Cleaner - For this recipe, I made a smaller version and left out the ammonia. Here is the ingredients and amounts that I used. I loved how this cleaned the dog's nose prints off my patio door. we have 8 dogs, so there were a lot of nose prints (Eww).
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
1/4 cup vinegar
2 cups warm water
1 Tbsp cornstarch
a few drops of dawn (if this makes it too soapy for you, just leave it out)
"Clorox Clean up" - This recipe does use bleach, but I can't help myself. I feel better using bleach on my counters. I like to feel like the germs are eradicated. Here is the recipe I use:
32 oz spray bottle
1/4 cup bleach
1 tsp dish soap
fill the rest with water
